Welcome to the Audi F1 Project.  
  
 Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.  
  
The new team has three locations. The Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. We have recently opened Sauber Motorsport Technology Center in the UK. Our Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations with support from the UK.

This position for the Audi F1 Project is at Sauber in Hinwil (Switzerland).
Your mission
  • Set up, operate, and support the IT infrastructure for the OPS (Operations Room) in Hinwil and at race tracks worldwide.

  • Provide 1st‑ and 2nd‑level support for applications and systems in the OPS room and on‑site at the track.

  • Support and continuously improve our diverse IT infrastructure.

  • Actively participate in the design and implementation of our future system landscape.

  • Troubleshoot quickly and effectively under time pressure in a high‑performance environment.

  • Ensure smooth IT operations during race weekends and other critical events.

Your profile
  • A completed apprenticeship as a computer scientist or a degree in IT.

  • Proven experience in the client/server domain (Microsoft environment: Office 365, Exchange, SharePoint Online, SQL Server, VMware, Lenovo).

  • Good know‑how in networking (Extreme, Cisco).

  • Scripting/automation knowledge (e.g. PowerShell or Python) is a plus.

  • Basic understanding of IT security and compliance topics.

  • Experience in events or motorsport environments is an advantage.

  • Willingness to travel worldwide and to work flexible hours, including weekends.

  • Very good knowledge of both German and English (spoken and written).
