Welcome to the Audi F1 Project.

Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.

The new team has three locations. The Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. We have recently opened Sauber Motorsport Technology Center in the UK. Our Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations with support from the UK.

This position for the Audi F1 Project is at Sauber in Hinwil (Switzerland).

Your mission

As part of our NDT team, you will support crack testing of new parts and race-used vehicle components after race and test events, using the NDT methods MT, PT, and VT
Clean, preserve, and store components after crack testing
Prepare, document, and create inspection reports
Record defect notifications in the quality management system
Assist with the maintenance and servicing of crack testing and cleaning equipment

Your profile

Successfully completed basic mechanical training, with additional qualification in the field of non-destructive testing
Practical experience in non-destructive testing methods: MT – Magnetic Particle Testing,
PT – Penetrant Testing, and VT – Visual Testing
Certified to Level 1 or 2 in MT, PT, and VT methods
Very good German or English skills are required, along with a willingness to learn basic skills in the other language
SAP knowledge is an advantage

Deine Aufgabe

Als Teil unseres ZfP-Teams unterstützt Du bei der Riss-Prüfung unserer Neuteile und gefahrenen Fahrzeugteile nach Renn- und Testeinsatz unter Anwendung der ZfP-Verfahren MT, PT, VT
Bauteile nach der Rissprüfung reinigen, konservieren und einlagern
Vorbereitung, Dokumentation und Erstellung von Prüfberichten
Erfassung von Fehlermeldungen im Qualitätssystem
Unterstützung bei der Wartung und Pflege der Rissprüf- und Reinigungsanlagen

Dein Profil

Erfolgreich abgeschlossene mechanische Grundausbildung mit Zusatzausbildung im Bereich zerstörungsfreie Prüfungen
Praktische Erfahrungen in der zerstörungsfreien Prüfung MT – Magnetpulverprüfung, PT – Eindringprüfung und VT- Sichtprüfung
Qualifiziert als Level 1 oder 2 in den Prüfverfahren MT, PT, VT
Sehr gute Deutsch- oder Englischkenntnisse, sowie die Bereitschaft Grundkenntnisse in der jeweils anderen Sprache zu erlernen, sind Voraussetzung
SAP-Kenntnisse von Vorteil
