Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.   
  
The new team has three locations. The Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. We have recently opened Sauber Motorsport Technology Center in the UK. Our Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations with support from the UK.

The position for the Audi F1 Project is at Sauber in Hinwil (Switzerland).
Your mission
  • Drive employer branding initiatives in close collaboration with agencies, internal communications, HR, and content teams — crafting compelling narratives that position the future Audi F1 Team as an employer of choice in the global motorsport industry.
  • Expand visibility beyond the traditional motorsport community by tapping into new audiences and markets to broaden awareness of the future Audi F1 Team.
  • Strengthen media engagement and position the future Audi F1 Team as a thought leader by building strong relationships with key outlets and opinion leaders to amplify our vision, values, and expertise.
  • Manage and grow the official Audi F1 Project LinkedIn account, ensuring high-quality, engaging content that reflects our brand, values, and employer branding strategy.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies for ESG topics, reflecting and reinforcing the commitment of the future Audi F1 Team.
  • Manage cross-functional and external stakeholder relationships to deliver impactful communications with measurable outcomes.
  • Take ownership of special communication projects, ensuring strategic alignment and high-quality execution
Your profile
  • Background in communications, marketing, or employer branding, with a proven track record of amplifying brands across diverse, international audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience leading external agencies and internal teams, ensuring effective, consistent, and brand-aligned strategies across platforms and stakeholders.
  • Proven expertise in media relations and thought leadership positioning, with the ability to develop compelling storylines and maintain strong relationships with journalists, outlets, and industry opinion leaders.
  • Experience managing corporate social media channels, ideally LinkedIn, with a focus on building communities, engaging diverse audiences, and driving employer branding.
  • Strong strategic project management skills, with the ability to set priorities, define KPIs, and deliver results from conception to completion.
  • Hands-on, proactive mentality with the capability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across diverse teams and partners.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel internationally and adapt to non-traditional working hours for global events and campaigns.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in German is a strong plus.

Deine Aufgabe
  • Initiativen im Bereich Employer Branding in enger Zusammenarbeit mit Agenturen, interner Kommunikation, HR und Content-Teams vorantreiben – mit dem Ziel, überzeugende Narrative zu entwickeln, die das zukünftige Audi F1 Team als bevorzugten Arbeitgeber in der globalen Motorsportbranche positionieren.

  • Die Sichtbarkeit über die traditionelle Motorsport-Community hinaus erweitern, indem neue Zielgruppen und Märkte erschlossen werden, um das Bewusstsein für das zukünftige Audi F1 Team zu steigern.

  • Die Medienpräsenz stärken und das zukünftige Audi F1 Team als Vordenker positionieren, indem starke Beziehungen zu wichtigen Medienkanälen und Meinungsführern aufgebaut werden, um unsere Vision, Werte und Expertise zu vermitteln.

  • Den offiziellen LinkedIn-Account des Audi F1 Projekts betreuen und ausbauen, mit qualitativ hochwertigem, ansprechendem Content, der unsere Marke, unsere Werte und die Employer-Branding-Strategie widerspiegelt.

  • Umfassende Kommunikationsstrategien für ESG-Themen entwickeln und umsetzen, um das Engagement des zukünftigen Audi F1 Teams zu reflektieren und zu stärken.

  • Beziehungen zu funktionsübergreifenden und externen Stakeholdern managen, um wirkungsvolle Kommunikation mit messbaren Ergebnissen zu erzielen.

  • Die Verantwortung für besondere Kommunikationsprojekte übernehmen und dabei strategische Ausrichtung und qualitativ hochwertige Umsetzung sicherstellen.


Dein Profil
  • First experience in communications or marketing, with a proven track record in managing communications projects
  • Experience working with agencies to ensure consistent and effective communication strategies across different platforms and stakeholders
  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to see projects through from conception to completion
  • Hands-on mentality with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse teams and external partners
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel and work non-traditional hours, as required for global events and campaigns
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in German is a plus
