Join the Audi F1 Project - Shape the Future of Motorsport!
Welcome to the Audi F1 Project.
Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.
The new team has two locations. Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. The Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. The Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of chassis and race operations. The planned takeover by AUDI AG turns two teams into a factory team – and you can be part of it.
What you need? The mindset of an athlete. If you are someone for whom giving up isn’t an option and limits are just something to be overcome, you can bring Vorsprung durch Technik to Formula 1 with us. Become part of this unique project and make motorsport history.
We are looking for someone who will support the team by gathering critical inputs from various departments, running simulations, and proactively suggesting improvements to tools and processes, while contributing fresh ideas and growing alongside the team.
This is a 13 month internship starting in September.
The intern will have the opportunity to support the creation of those electrical standard components to have them represented as realistically as possible in CAD, to have them available to use across our Design Office. This process will be done in close collaboration with the Systems Engineering and Digital Mock-up group, following the guidelines and requirements of the Design Office. Therefore, it is important that the candidate has a good knowledge of CAD (Catia V6 or 3DExperience) and has an understanding of the standard and electronic components to create.
The position for the Audi F1 Project is at Sauber in Hinwil (Switzerland).
