Welcome to the Audi F1 Project. 

Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026. 

The new team has two locations. Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. The Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. The Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations. The planned takeover by AUDI AG turns two teams into a factory team – and you can be part of it.  

What you need? The mindset of an athlete. If you are someone for whom giving up isn’t an option and limits are just something to be overcome, you can bring Vorsprung durch Technik to Formula 1 with us. Become part of this unique project and make motorsport history. 

The position for the Audi F1 Project is at Sauber in Hinwil (Switzerland).
Your mission
  • Perform regular 3D scans of WT models and analyse measurement data
  • Perform quality checks on individual parts and assemblies using advanced methods such as 3D scanning and conventional measurement
  • Produce and distribute comprehensive quality reports
  • Create and maintain Polyworks templates for quality checks, including adapting 3D scanning software for robots
  • Work with production and design departments to implement and refine manufacturing processes
Your profile
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification/experience
  • Experience of Innovmetric Polyworks and 3D scanning technologies is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of metrology and additive manufacturing processes
  • Self-motivated, reliable and detail oriented with a proactive attitude
  • Fluent in English; flexibility in working hours (including shift work)
